What happens next

  1. 1. Add it to your browser

One click from the Chrome Web Store. It asks for YouTube and lingokeep.com, and nothing else.

  2. 2. Pin it, so you can find it

Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar, then the pin next to LingoKeep. The icon shows how many cards are due.

  3. 3. Open a YouTube video

In the language you're learning. The subtitle bar appears under the player — click any word to look it up and keep it.

Which browsers work

Any desktop browser built on Chromium: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera and Vivaldi all install from the Chrome Web Store. Safari and Firefox use a different extension format and aren't supported. Phones and tablets can't run Chrome extensions at all — but reviewing your cards works everywhere, including as an installable app from the review page.
